Hear! Hear, 4S4ians! These are the three 'options' that we have come up with today:
Option 1: A' Famosa Resort
Pros?
> The villas aka bungalows are pretty reasonably-priced. If we take the standard 3 rooms villa, I think about 10 people can stay in one villa at most. The bungalows come with personal pools! ;)
(shoulder season pricing; the rate can change though)
>Loads of activities. You have the Animal World(Safari),Water World,Cowboy Town(night hours)
> Convenient in terms of transportation. (No need to use bus, taxi, etc.)
Cons?
>Our class would probably 'disperse' when we have our activities. Oh and no barbeque... ;_;
Option 2: Bukit Tinggi Resort aka Colmar Topicale
Pros?
> Good weather. Very refreshing. Ideal for a relaxing getaway :)
> Easier to get together to do activities. No dispersion.
> Love the French- themed architecture of Colmar Tropicale. The rooms are pretty neat. ;)
Cons?
> It's slightly expensive. BUT if we book SUPER early, we can get about 70% discount I was told. Check the [link]
> The activities there are the 'relaxing' kind. They've got a rabbit farm, sports centre (but it's not very active), horse ranch, Japanese garden (nice for hiking)...
Option 3: Some isolated beach? (For now... Desaru? Eg. Pulai Desaru Beah Resort)
Pros?
> Price is very reasonable and affordable.
> They have tours and excursions! See here! Shuttle services provided.
Excursions :
» Kampung & Sightseeing Tour
» Kota Tinggi Visit
» Fruit Farm Tour
» River Fishing
» River Cruise
» Fireflies Experience
» Crocodile Farm
Cons?
> MONSOON SEASON!!! Desaru is at the East Coast! ;_; See Desaru's website.
"Note: The Monsoon season starts from November through the middle of March. During this period the sea becomes rough with more rainy days. For the security reason, we may not operate the marine activities such as Parasailing, Banana boat ride, etc. however you can still enjoy sunbathing or swimming in the hotel spacious swimming pool or join the optional tours such as Firefly Tour, River Cruise Tour and etc."
BOO! This is the only time I hate the rain. :X
Questions I may want to ask...
1. It's obviously better if we book online, but ahem who's credit card eh?
2. How many people can ACTUALLY GO?
3.What kind of outing are we planning? Referring to Puan Chee's advice...
4. And the most of all... Are YOU interested?

Rachael's opinion? Honestly, I like the bungalow idea.... :D The easiest trip to plan is obviously the A' Famosa one.
